Cookies are small files which enable specific information to be saved on the hardware used to gain access (PC, smartphone, etc.). This information relates to the hardware and is used to facilitate the use of websites and increase user-friendliness (e.g. saving login data). It is also used to collect statistics on website use with a view to analysing the data in order to improve the Service. Users can control the use of the cookies. Most browsers have an option whereby the storage of cookies can be restricted or disabled completely. In this case, however, users are advised that some functions, and specifically features designed for the convenience of users, will be limited without Cookies.

Access data / server log files

The provider (or the latter's webspace provider) collects data about every instance of access to the Service (server log files). The access data include the following:

Name of the website visited, file, date and time of visit, volume of data transmitted, report as to whether access process was successful, browser type and version, operating system of user, referrer URL (web page previously visited), IP address, and the provider issuing the request.

The provider uses the log data for statistical purposes only in respect of the operation, security and optimisation of the Service. The provider reserves the right, however, to check the log data at a later date if there are legitimate grounds to suspect illegal use.

Management of personal data

Personal data are information by means of which a person can be identified or which can be traced back to a person. They include the person's name, email address or telephone number. Personal data also include information about preferences, hobbies and memberships, however, or which websites a person has visited.

Personal data will only be collected, used and forwarded by the provider when permitted by law or when the user has given consent to the collection of personal data.

When contact is made with the provider (using the contact form, for example, or by email), the details of the user will be saved in order to process the inquiry and to answer any follow-up questions which may arise.

Cancellation, amendments, corrections and updates

Users have the right to ask to be provided with information free of charge about the personal data stored about them. Users also have the right to amend incorrect data and to block or delete personal data unless these actions are debarred by a statutory duty to hold the data on record.
